Friday is the application deadline for Lehighton Education and Athletic Foundation’s 2025 Graduates of Distinction nominees.

The application can be found at LEAF-Foundation.org.

Those selected as Graduates of Distinction for 2025 will be honored with the 2024 selectees at a banquet on May 17.

The banquet at the Lehighton American Legion, Post 314, beginning at 6 p.m.

LEAF honors graduates who have achieved a lifetime of noteworthy success in their chosen career and have further distinguished themselves by contributions to society at the local, state or national level.

The 2024 honorees include Maynard Ahner II, Rick Merluzzi, Thomas A. Polk and Dennis Yenser.
