State police at the Fogelsville barracks said the driver of a minivan that slid on slush on Route 143 in Lynn Township escaped injury in a crash at 4:27 p.m. Feb. 15.

They did not identify the driver of the 2005 Dodge Caravan that was eastbound at the time but said the vehicle traveled down a small hill, slid on the slush, went out of control and came to rest over a culvert/ditch that ran under the roadway.

Police said the passenger-side front tire of the vehicle was hanging over a 4-foot ditch and the undercarriage was resting on a cement culvert.

The Caravan was towed from the scene.
