Turnpike crashes
State police at the Pocono barracks reported the following crashes on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike:
• Skylar M. Hoover, 22, of Kingston, was charged with driving while her operating privileges are suspended or revoked after a two-vehicle crash at 1:02 p.m. Feb. 18 at mile marker 94.5 in Kidder Township.
Police said she was driving a 2014 Honda Accord southbound when it was struck by another vehicle that was southbound, whose driver left the scene.
Hoover was uninjured, police said.
• Henry E. Bullock, 35, of Philadelphia, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 5:30 a.m. Feb. 9 at mile marker 68.6 in Washington Township. He was uninjured in the incident.
Police said he lost control of the 2016 Ford Fusion he was driving, after which the car began to spin clockwise, striking a concrete barrier. They said the left rear tire detached from the vehicle, which had to be towed from the scene.
• Wayne B. Wallace, 57, of Jim Thorpe, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 11:58 p.m. Feb. 8 at mile marker 68.6 in Washington Township. He was uninjured in the incident.
Police said he was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt when he lost control of it. The car struck the concrete median and had to be towed from the scene.
• Police said a tractor-trailer struck a 2012 Subaru Outback that was parked at mile marker 67.1 in Washington Township at 3:40 a.m. Feb. 9, and the rig left the scene.
They said the Outback was disabled in the left lane when the driver’s side of the rig hit its rear passenger side.
• Shane T. Evancho, 223, of Pompton Lakes, New Jersey, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 3:29 a.m. Feb. 9 at mile marker 67.1 in Washington Township. He was uninjured in the incident.
Police said he was driving a 2012 Subaru Impreza northbound when it traveled across the left lane and struck the center concrete median.
• Lucas Wratschko, 30, of Washington, D.C., was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 5:15 p.m. Feb. 15 at mile marker 66.3 in Washington Township.
Police said he was driving a 2015 Honda Civic northbound when he lost control of it. The rear of the Honda hit an embankment before the car spun and its front-end struck the embankment.
• Tara M. Shisler, 21, of Villanova, had suspected minor injuries after a one-vehicle crash at 1:23 p.m. Feb. 15 at mile marker 67 in Washington Township.
Police said she was transported by personnel from the Northern Valley Ambulance to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township.
They said she was driving a 2020 Acura northbound when it slid to the left and hit an embankment with its front end. She was cited after the crash.
• David I. Fabiani, 37, of Philadelphia, escaped injuries when snow and ice flew off a vehicle and struck his vehicle at 11:23 a.m. Feb. 10 at mile marker 75.7 in Franklin Township.
Police said he was driving a 2008 Ford Econoline southbound when the snow and ice flew off a vehicle and smashed the windshield of his vehicle. Fabiani told police he was unable to get the attention of the other driver, who, he said, appeared to be listening to music.
