The Blue Bombers also claim the team championship, totaling 133 1/2 points to runner-up Stroudsburg’s 129 1/2. Dave Christman starts a string of three straight Palmerton titles when he gains an 11-4 win in the finals at 145 pounds. Mike Serfass, who was trailing 12-8 at the time, gains the victory at 152 when his opponent is disqualified. Rich Hertzog makes quick work at 160 with a pin in 1:23. Other area titles are won by Northern Lehigh’s Jeremy Dogmantis (98) and Isaac Rosario (112), Lehighton’s Mike Lusch (189) and Steve Hawk (heavyweight), and Pleasant Valley’s Kevin Nagle (171).
