Dear Editor,

In a recent letter a Trump acolyte mentioned a number of Trump’s accomplishments in the brief time he has been president. I am sorry to say she left out some of the most important acts of our new president.

Getting rid of paper straws was long overdue, for, as the president pointed out, the paper ones can explode.

We should also praise his renaming of the Gulf of Mexico and Denali in Alaska. I am disappointed that New Mexico is still New Mexico, but I am sure he will get around to that.

His appointments are also worthy of note. Tulsi Gabbard’s close friendship with Putin, Peter Hegseth’s vast experience with military matters from his stint at Fox, and the medical expertise of Robert Kennedy Jr., will transform life in this country.

Cutting the personnel at the Veterans’ Administration will no doubt benefit our veterans.

Finally, we all know that billionaires like Elon Musk and other cabinet officials have our interests at heart. We are lucky indeed.
