Faith Alive Church

Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown), holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. A contemporary service is held at 8:30 a.m., followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. A traditional service is held at 11 a.m.

• Feb. 19: 7 p.m. Prayer and Praise.

• Feb. 20: 2 p.m. Bible study; 6:30 p.m. choir practice.

• Feb. 23: 6 p.m. Impact youth group.

• Feb. 25: 10 a.m. quilt group.

• Feb. 26: 7 p.m. Prayer and Praise.

• Feb. 27: 6:30 p.m. choir practice.

Contemporary adult class: Began Feb. 16 in Room 113. There will be eight lessons.

February Mission: Child Evangelism Fellowship of Carbon-Lehigh counties.

Communion stewards: People are needed to serve as Communion stewards for prep and cleanup at one first Sunday of a month.

Sunday morning Scripture readers: Anyone who would like to read during February services, there is a signup sheet in the lobby.

ABC Food Pantry: Canned goods and nonperishable food item donations for the pantry can be dropped off in the church lobby.

March Communion stewards: Carol Andrews and Donna Bonser.

Ash Wednesday worship: March 5 at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Lent Bible study: Wednesdays beginning March 12 with Pastor Rob Timlin. More information to be released soon.

Save the date: Spring Ladies Luncheon, April 5 from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Guest speaker is Laura Sommons of Lavishly Loved Ministries. The topic is “Come to the Table.” Salad bar lunch. Community yard sale: April 26 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. in the church parking lot. Bring your own tables and chairs. This is only for church members.
