The Colts, coached by Bernie Forgotch, enter the final period with a 14-point advantage but PV trims the margin to four midway through the frame. Grega, however, hits for 10 points down the stretch to preserve the win. Marian, which also benefits from a 22-of-30 effort at the free-throw line, also receives 15 points from Dave Angelo and eight from Tom McGinley. For the Panthers, Joe Paluck and Vince Krajcir share team honors with 12 points apiece.
