Franklin Township supervisors took the following action on Tuesday:

• Awarded a bid for 10,000 gallons of low sulfur diesel fuel and 6,000 gallons of heating oil (prices are to be in effect on Feb. 16, escalator clause in effect), to George’s P&H LLC, in the amount of $56,760.

• Discussed, but did not set a hearing date, for the proposed Cable Franchise Agreement between the township and Blue Ridge Cable Technologies Inc.

• Adopted a resolution for disposition of various tax collector records.

• Announced that garbage bills were mailed out at the end of January, and for residents to call if they did not receive a bill. The quarterly sewer bills were also mailed.

• Announced that an electronics recycling event will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. April 5.
