State police at Fogelsville

State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following incidents:

• Police responded to a theft by deception/identity theft incident at 4:28 p.m. Feb. 8 on Windy Road in Lowhill Township.

They said a victim told them an iPhone was ordered using the victim’s email address. The person did not sustain a monetary loss, police said.

• Police said a basketball game led to a fight at 2:50 p.m. Feb. 1 on Buckeye Road, Lower Macungie Township.

They said two individuals, who were not identified, were in a game, during which a verbal dispute took place.

After the game the dispute turned physical and the two engaged in a fight.

Police said a coach from one of the teams and other players broke up the altercation.

• A 27-year-old Fogelsville woman was charged with strangulation, simple assault and harassment after police were called to a domestic violence incident at 12:38 p.m. Feb. 3 on Seipstown Road, Weisenberg Township.

Police said the victim is a 23-year-old woman from New Tripoli.

• Police responded to a criminal mischief incident at 8:26 p.m. Feb. 6 at a property on Flint Hill Road, Lynn Township.

They said the victim is Person Directed Supports Inc., Whitehall.

Police said the incident involved a male acting up and vandalizing his own property. A 2014 Dodge was involved in the incident.

• Police said someone “keyed” a 2015 Honda Accord owned by a 43-year-old man from Effort.

It occurred on Aug. 15 of last year but was only reported by police this week.

They said the man told police the actor walked up to the car and damaged its driver’s side before fleeing.

• A 61-year-old Slatington woman was targeted in a theft by deception/identity theft incident police were called to on Schantz Road, Upper Macungie Township, at 4:06 p.m. Jan. 6.

Police said she reported someone attempted to transfer funds from her bank account.
