PV, coached by Pip Rader, leads by just two points at halftime but outscore the Hurricanes by 10 in the third quarter. The winners put the game away with a big 30-point fourth frame. Dave Hnat tallies a game-high 24 points and adds 16 rebounds, while Bob Porambo collects 18 points and 11 boards. Mike Horowski contributes 11 points and 10 rebounds. Pete Radocha also pours in 19 points for PV.
