State police at Bethlehem - crashes

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following crashes:

• Dean A. Dreisbach, 56, of Germansville, was cited after a two-vehicle crash at 3:09 p.m. Jan. 22 on Route 309 in Heidelberg Township. No one was hurt in the incident.

Police said he was driving a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound when he made an attempt to pass a 2025 Dodge Promaster operated by Kairi M. Days, 26, of Scotrun, who was also eastbound and had stopped to turn into a private driveway.

The Silverado struck the Promaster in the front driver-side bumper and tire area before traveling about 50 feet and coming to rest in another private driveway, police said.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 8:34 p.m. Feb. 2 at the intersection of Route 309 and Mountain Road in Washington Township.

Police said the crash occurred as Devin D. Knappenberger, 24, of Palmerton, was driving a 2004 Ford Mustang east and was going down a steep hill when he was unable to slow or stop, entering the intersection with Mountain Road, where the car struck a 2012 Dodge Ram truck operated by Michael Huth, 44, of Albrightsville.

Police said Knappenberger was after the crash
