Trevor M. Wentz, 41, of Weissport, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 8:34 p.m. Feb. 11 on Route 100 in Lowhill Township, state police at the Fogelsville barracks said.

Police said it is unknown whether Wentz was injured but reported that a passenger, Brooke A. Watts, 34, of New Tripoli, had possible injuries and was transported from the scene by personnel from the Cetronia Ambulance Corps.

Wentz was driving a 2011 Mercedes-Benz northbound when he lost control of it while negotiating a right curve, according to police.

The vehicle crossed the opposing lane and continued until it hit the end of a guide rail and rotated counterclockwise, causing the passenger side to strike the rail, police said.
