Saints Peter and Paul Church announces its schedule for the church at 260 N. Third St., Lehighton:

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is offered on the Lord’s Day at Saints Peter and Paul Parish by the Rev. Christopher M. Zelonis, assisted by Deacon Joseph C. Wilhelm Jr., throughout the year at 4 p.m. on Saturdays, 7:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Sundays, and 8 a.m. Daily Masses are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and first Saturdays at 8 a.m. We welcome you, or welcome you back, to worship the Lord at our parish.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is available from 5-6 p.m. on Thursdays, and about 30 minutes before Masses on Friday, Saturday and Sunday

The Blessed Sacrament is exposed for personal prayer every Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. We particularly need adorers for the last hour. On first Fridays, we also have Adoration and Confessions available from 6-9 p.m.

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process of formation for disciples of Jesus in the Catholic Church. Help available

• The Lehighton Cold Weather Station, in the basement of the former Ebenezer UMC at the top of the town square, provides temporary shelter for local homeless people. The St. Vincent de Paul Society needs help with chaperones, prayer partners, meals and donations. • The Knights of Columbus Damien Council 598 meets on the first Tuesday of every month in our parish hall at 7 p.m., followed by the Msgr. Agnello Angelini Assembly of the Fourth Degree Knights at 7:30 p.m.

Inclement weather

On days when school is delayed or closed, that weekday Mass will be offered privately. Other scheduled activities on those days will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
