Panther Valley graduate Maddison Maynard scored a career-high 13 points to help Bloomsburg gain a recent 63-54 victory over East Stroudsburg.
Maynard, a freshman who was starting for the first time in her collegiate career, made four of her seven shots from the floor — which included a three-pointer — and hit all four of her free throws.
The former Panther, whose previous high game was 10 points on Nov. 10, also pulled down two rebounds during her season-high 25 minutes of action.
During her freshman year, Maynard has played in 20 of her team’s 24 games, and has scored 48 points for a 2.4 points per game average. She has 16-of-39 shots from the floor for a .410 shooting percentage, and has made 14-of-19 free throws for a 737 percentage. She has also added 23 rebounds, eight assists and two steals.
The Huskies currently own a 15-9 record, including a 9-8 mark in the conference. Bloomsburg has four games remaining in the regular season.
