State police at Frackville - crashes

State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following crashes:

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 1:24 p.m. Jan. 11 on Route 54 in Rush Township.

Police said the crash occurred when Cameron L. Lewis, 19, of Tamaqua, driving a 2017 Nissan Sentra eastbound, attempted to turn left onto a McDonald’s parking lot and was struck by a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by Scott H. Murphy, 42, of Nesquehoning.

Police said both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

• Adam M. Buynak, 43, of Ashland, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 6:56 a.m. Jan. 31 on the Tamanend Road in Delano Township.

Police said he was driving a 2007 Dodge Caravan when he lost control of it due to ice on the road. The Caravan struck a tree, resulting in disabling damage that required it to be towed from the scene.

• Melinda Garay Davila, 49, of Reading, had suspected minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash at 11:39 a.m. Feb. 5 on Route 209 in Schuylkill Township.

Police said she was transported by personnel from the Tamaqua Community Ambulance Association to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Miners Campus, Coaldale.

They said she was driving a 2007 Ford Mustang south on Catawissa Street when she failed to stop at the intersection with Route 209, at which time a snowplow, a 2017 Ford F-550 driven by Dyllyn L. Trexler, 33, of Barnesville, struck it. Trexler was uninjured.

Police said the Mustang was towed from the scene.

Garay Davila was cited for driving without a license, according to police.

• David A. Feliz, 49, of Beaver Meadows, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 6:18 a.m. Feb. 6 on Route 93 in Hazle Township.

Police said he was driving a 2005 Chrysler Sebring that was turning left onto East Broad Street when he lost control of it due to sleet on the highway. The car struck a concrete divider and was towed from the scene.
