Towamensing Township supervisors conducted the following business this month:

• A time extension until March 12 for the Owl Creek Road subdivision was approved.

•. A time extension was also approved until May 13 for Lakeside Self Storage.

• The supervisors agreed to have Buckno, Lisicky and Company as the township audit firm.

• The Palmerton Area Comprehensive Plan and salary for Scott Mosier, roadmaster/supervisor, were tabled.

• Property and liability insurance through Brosky Insurance was renewed from April 2025 to April 2026.

• The Historical Commission awarded a plaque to Terry Hahn for his ongoing work and dedication.

• The fire company reported that it has a new gym at the firehouse.
