State police at Lehighton

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents.

• A 54-year-old Palmerton man was cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to a disturbance at 12:36 p.m. Feb. 6 on Hamilton Street in Bowmanstown.

A 39-year-old man from Palmerton showed police footage of an argument that took place between he and suspect on the porch area of the home.

• A 25-year-old Kunkletown man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 1:32 a.m. Feb. 2.

He was stopped in a 2018 GMC Sierra for a Motor Vehicle Code violation on Hahn’s Dairy Road, Lower Towamensing Township.

• Police responded to a domestic disturbance at 9:26 p.m. Jan. 25 on Bottom Road, Polk Township.

Police did not identify the parties involved but said a man shoved and threatened to kill a woman.

They said he resisted arrest and shoved and attempted to strike officers.

He was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono, East Stroudsburg, and after being cleared and arraigned, at which time bail was denied, he was committed to the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville.

• Police said a business on Blakeslee Boulevard Drive East, Mahoning Township, would be cited for “false alarm/dialing devices” after they were called there at 9:30 p.m. Jan. 27.
