The Panther Valley Blueprint Community Team issued a statement regarding comments made by Bruce Markovich, Lansford Borough Council president, during a workshop meeting last week:

“At no time has there been any discussion, or even mention, of funding being available through Blueprint to purchase a handicap accessible door for the Lansford Borough Building. The Blueprint Team regrets any misunderstanding as a result of Mr. Markovich’s erroneous remark. We stand firm in our commitment to the entire Panther Valley to move forward with a comprehensive plan for the redevelopment of our area.”
