Timothy J. Clift, 20, of Warrington, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 7:21 p.m. Feb. 2 at mile marker 87.9 on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, state police at the Pocono barracks said.

He was uninjured in the crash in Penn Forest Township.

Police said Clift was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt northbound on the snow-covered highway when he applied his brakes and lost control of the car. They said it hit the center median with its front end, spun and then struck the concrete barrier on the right side of the road.

Police said Clift declined an emergency transport to a hospital for evaluation.
