Marian graduate, and current Kutztown University junior Michael Fellin, was recently named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Track Athlete of the Week.
Fellin set a new program record and NCAA provisional qualifying time to win the 60-meter dash at last weekend’s Bucknell Bison Open & Multi.
Fellin, who already set a share of the school record with a 6.80 at Alvernia two weeks prior, ran 6.83 in prelims to earn the top seed for the finals.
He threw down a blistering 6.76 to win the event final over teammate Daron Haggans by .25 seconds, establishing a new program record and his second NCAA provisional time of the day.
Fellin’s season- and career-best time currently ranks 26th in NCAA Division 2, and second in the PSAC this season.
At Marian, Fellin won two state medals in 2021. He finished second in the Class 2A 100, and was also a member of the 400 relay team that placed seventh.
