A 40-year-old Walnutport man is facing drug possession charges after a traffic stop at 9:48 p.m. Jan. 13, according to state police at the Belfast barracks.

He was stopped in a 1999 Ford F-150 on Henry Road in Plainfield Township, after which time he was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine, police said. Police did not release his identity.

It was determined there are active warrants issued against the suspect as well.
