Faith Alive Church

Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown), holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. A contemporary service is held at 8:30 a.m., followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. A traditional service is held at 11 a.m.

In the event of inclement weather, church cancellations will appear on WFMZ, WFMZ.com and the church’s Facebook page.

Contemporary adult class: Begins Feb. 9 in Room 113. There will be eight lessons.

Women’s event: Women’s winter blues buster hot chocolate social in fellowship hall, 1-3 p.m. on Feb. 8. Event includes a craft and short devotional time. Sign up in the lobby or email Jan Lazarchak at jklpta@yahoo.com.

February Mission: Child Evangelism Fellowship of Carbon-Lehigh counties

Communion stewards: People are needed to serve as Communion stewards for prep and cleanup at one first Sunday of a month.

Sunday Scripture readers: Anyone who would like to read during February services, there is a sign-up sheet in the lobby.

ABC Food Pantry: Canned goods and nonperishable food item donations for the pantry can be dropped off in the church lobby.
