State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following incidents:
• A 43-year-old man from Sussex, New Jersey, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 8:54 p.m. Jan. 24.
The man was stopped in a 2024 Dodge Ram pickup truck for Motor Vehicle Code violations on Route 209 in Hamilton Township.
• Police said they received notification from the Monroe County Children and Youth Services office of a possible incident involving a 14-year-old boy from Easton.
A bodily assault incident was reported to have taken place between Jan. 1 and 3:54 p.m. Jan. 23 on Edwin Lane in Hamilton Township.
Police said the matter is under investigation.
• Timothy Lawrence, 44, of East Stroudsburg, has been charged with failure to comply with Megan’s Law requirements, according to state police at the Stroudsburg barracks.
Police said at 2 p.m. Jan. 18 they determined Lawrence failed to provide accurate information relating to addresses, vehicles and internet identifiers as required by the Pennsylvania registration of sexual offenders. He was taken into custody and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Paul Gasper.
Police said a 2018 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter was involved in the incident.
