Carbon Career & Technical Institute recently recognized students for Student of the Second Marking Period.

Students of the marking period are nominated by a faculty or staff member for one or more of the following reasons: student serves as a role model for his or her peers; academically motivated; attendance; demonstrates leadership in and out of the classroom; involved in extracurricular activities; and performs school and community service activities. They were recognized with certificates from the administration and a brunch in the Harvest Café.

Students for the second marking period are: Desarae Ahner, Stacy Bos, Ryder Campbell, Ryah Confer, Lucian Dubin, Kylee Fischi, Daniel Geissinger, Shawn Hollowell, McKenzie Holt, Chasity Kibler, Tanner Kintz, Leah Knappenberger, Jared Lanier, Biran Lapp, Dean Marks, Amanda Martell, Gabriel Mattrazzo, Bruce McFarland, Lucas Miller, Makenna Montefour, Chase Owsald, Luke Plesniarski, Kairi Stashefski, Violet Steele, Jacob Steigerwalt and Ava Trach.

Richard Stettler also was recognized for being chosen as Teacher of the Marking Period.
