The Weatherly boys and girls basketball teams both posted wins Saturday during their Hall of Fame night.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Salem Christian-Weatherly
Ian McKeegan’s second-quarter scoring spree helped Weatherly pull away from Salem Christian for a 61-21 non-league victory.
McKeegan tallied 15 of his game-high 25 points in the second as the Wreckers outscored their opponent 24-7 to gain a 23-point halftime lead.
Niko Saldukas added 13 points for the winners, while Corbin Wagner chipped in with nine.

Marian-Minersville
A huge second quarter propelled Minersville to a 73-37 non-league victory over Marian.
The Colts trailed by just four points after the first frame, but the Battlin’ Mines used a 24-0 period to take control.
Dante Carr scored nine of his game-high 17 points in the second, while Chase Zimerofsky and Shazier Bethea both finished with 10.
Marian received a team-high 14 points from Greg Tirpak. Rocco Griguoli added eight.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Salem Christian-Weatherly
Kelly Reiner’s second-half performance aided Weatherly’s 34-28 non-league comeback win over Salem Christian.
Reiner, after being held to just three points during the first two periods, pumped in 21 over the final two to help the Wreckers erase a six-point halftime deficit.
The winners, who snapped a four-game losing streak, also received eight points from Courtney Snyder.
The Eagles were led by Becky Held’s 10 points.

Pottsville spoiled Lehighton’s chance of making the district playoffs as the Crimson Tide pulled away for a 51-28 non-league victory.
Jo Barnhart and Jes Siminitas both scored 11 points for the winners, who raced out to a 16-point halftime advantage.
The Tide also received 10 points from Kierra Jones.
Emma Repsher netted a team-high 10 points for the Indians, while Leah Uyvari contributed nine.

BOYS WRESTLING
Falcon Invitational
Northern Lehigh’s Cody Mazzocca placed third at the Falcon Invitational at Cedar Crest High School.
The Bulldog 121-pounder went 3-1 at the tournament, earning a pin and a decision win before falling by a major decision in the semifinals. Mazzocca rebounded with a 5-0 decision in the third-place match.
Noah Gosart went 2-2 at 114 pounds, while Grady Newhard also posted a 2-2 mark at 172.
Souderton took the team title, while Northern Lehigh finished 11th among the 20 teams.
GIRLS WRESTLING
Upper Dauphin Tournament
Lehighton placed seventh as a team among the 29-team field at the Upper Dauphin Lady Trojan Tournament.
Cassidy Litts earned the top finish among Indian wrestlers with a second at 155.
Litts registered pins in both the quarterfinals and semifinals before falling in the title round.
At 112, Claudia Pagotto came away with a third place. Pagotto posted a 6-0 win in the quarters before dropping her semifinal match. She battled back, though, with decision wins in the consolation round and third-place bout.
Lehighton also received a fourth from Alivia Reed at 170. Reed opened the tourney with a pin, but lost in the quarters. She rebounded with three straight falls during the consis, but fell in the third-place match.
Caeley Hinkson also picked up three wins at 142 in the tourney, which was won by Easton.
