Fog, freezing temperatures this morning

Area schools are on a 2-hour delay this morning and motorists are cautioned to be alert for patchy fog and freezing temperatures.

The National Weather Service says patchy fog across the region combined with temperatures below

freezing will allow for brief periods of light freezing fog early this morning.

Untreated surfaces may become slippery. Stay aware for slick spots this morning. Concerns for freezing fog will diminish as fog dissipates and temperatures rise after daybreak

this morning.
