The Hauto Valley Estates portion of Nesquehoning remains under a boil advisory over the weekend.

Crews have been working on the water line between Eighth Avenue and 12th Avenue and 12 Avenue and Route 54 since Jan. 27, with temporary shut-offs happening daily.

Nesquehoning Borough Water Authority office manager Suzanne Smith said Friday that the boil advisory for First through 12th avenues, Park Avenue, Stock Street and Industrial Road is still in place through the weekend and crews hope to finish the work on Monday.

“We will send out an alert once we are in the clear,” she said.
