They said the crash occurred when a 2013 Jeep Cherokee driven by Nicholas A. Bogert, 19, of Kempton, traveling north on Golden Key Road, went into the oncoming lane and sideswiped the 2007 Jeep Cherokee driven by Koehler before coming to rest on the shoulder of the road.
Police said Koehler’s Jeep sustained heavy damage and had to be towed from the scene, while Bogert’s Jeep was able to be driven from the scene.
Bogert was cited after the crash, police said.
