State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 17-year-old boy from Stroudsburg was arrested on charges of harassment by physical contact after police said he assaulted his legal guardian, a 52-year-old woman from Stroudsburg.

Police said they were called to a domestic-in-progress incident at 11:21 a.m. Jan. 17 at a property at 1277 Beaver Valley Road in Hamilton Township after a verbal dispute between the two escalated. They said the boy pulled the woman’s hair, slapped her on the leg and subjected her to unwanted physical contact. The woman was uninjured, police said.

• Police said a 41-year-old man from Saylorsburg was cited for harassment by physical contact after they were summoned to a domestic incident at 11:02 p.m. Jan. 16 on Route 115 in Hamilton Township.

The incident involved a 38-year-old woman from Saylorsburg, police said.
