State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following incidents:
• Police are investigating an alleged child abuse case involving a 3-year-old boy from Germansville.
PA Childline services were notified for further investigation to substantiate the allegations, police said.
• Phillip Kutz, 57, of New Tripoli, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 1:30 a.m. Dec. 7 on Route 22 in Whitehall.
He was stopped in a 2013 Toyota 4Runner for numerous traffic violations, after which time police said they observed signs of impairment of Kutz.
• Wendy’s on Route 873 in North Whitehall Township was issued a citation for disorderly conduct after police were called there for a false alarm at 8:40 a.m. Jan. 7.
Police said it was the fourth false alarm they were called to in a 12-month period.
• Police are investigating a burglary that was reported at 5:43 a.m. Oct. 30 at a restaurant on Route 873 in Washington Township.
Police did not name the business but said the victims are a 44-year-old man and a 39-year-old man, both from Whitehall.
Police said the men reported between $2,800 and $3,800 was taken from the restaurant.
