State police at Fern Ridge - crashes

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following crashes:

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 9:55 a.m. Dec. 19 on Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said the crash occurred when Alhaji L. Jalloh, 23, of Blandon, driving a 2018 Chevrolet Cruze, attempted to pull out of the parking lot of the AutoZone and turned left onto Route 209, resulting in the car striking a 2009 Mazda driven by Elizabeth V. Taylor, 32, of Kunkletown, who was northbound at the time.

Police said the Mazda had to be towed from the scene.

• Stephen A. Krajnak, 60, of Gilbert, was cited for following too closely after a two-vehicle crash at 5:05 p.m. Dec. 21 on Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township. No one was injured in the incident.

Police said Krajnak was driving a 2012 Jeep Cherokee westbound when it hit the back of a 2014 Ford F-250 driven by Phillip A. Yetter, 40, of Stroudsburg, who was stopped and waiting to make a turn off the highway.

Police said the Jeep had disabling damage, while the F-250 had functional damage.
