Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following matters last week:

Ready to Learn Block Grant

• 2024-2025 Ready To Learn Block Grant Tax Equity Supplement in the amount of $24,008 for spending during the 2025-2026 school year.

Financial

• Extended contract with NRG for software and firmware updates and repairs, at a one-time cost of $6,807, to be funded through the Buildings and Grounds Department budget.

• Resolution establishing the compensation for school district elected qualified tax collectors for the next four-year term of office commencing Jan. 1, 2026 through Dec. 31, 2029.

Curriculum & Instruction

• Adoption and purchase of Amplify ELA materials for Northern Lehigh Middle School, $40,863, to be funded from the educational technology, curriculum and instruction budget.

• Purchase of additional Amplify CKLA materials to integrate it into learning support classrooms, $7,999, to be funded through the educational technology, curriculum and instruction budget.

Conferences

• Dr. Tania Stoker, 2025 PASA Leadership Forum, March 19-21, State College, registration $325, lodging $370, travel, $210, and meals $120, for a cost of about $1,050, to be funded through the assistant superintendent professional development budget

• Scott Pyne, 2025 PDE Data Summit, March 24-26, Hershey, registration $175, lodging, $465, travel $109, and meals $180, for a total cost of about $929, to be funded through the curriculum budget.

• Blasia Dunham, 2025 PDE Data Summit, March 24-26, Hershey, registration $175, lodging $310, travel $110, and meals $180, to be funded through the assistant superintendent professional development budget.
