State police at the Pocono barracks reported the following incidents that occurred on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike:
• Braeden Frost, 24, of Newark, Delaware, is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police made a traffic stop at 6:18 p.m. Jan. 11.
He was stopped at mile marker 67.8 southbound in Washington Township in a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado for traveling 93 mph in a 70 mph zone, after which police found him to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
• Police said Marcel Guardia of Tobyhanna was stopped at 8:43 a.m. Jan. 12 at mile marker 94.8 in Kidder Township for speeding.
He was driving a 2015 Hyundai Sonata northbound at 93 mph in a 70 mph zone, police said.
After the stop, police said it was determiner the annual and emission sticker on the car were fraudulent, for which Guardia was additionally cited.
Police said victims in the incident are Bill’s Southern Auto Service, Folsom, and Emory Transmissions, Harrisburg.
