Monroe crashes

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following crashes:

• Daniel Feller, 69, of Nesquehoning, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance after a one-vehicle crash at 5:54 p.m. Jan. 8.

Police did not provide details of the crash, only reporting that it occurred in the 100 block of the Seven Bridge Road, Smithfield Township.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 6:56 p.m. Dec. 14 on Route 209 in Hamilton Township.

Police said the crash occurred as Tyrique N. Henderson, 24, of Kunkletown, was driving a 2017 Nissan Altima northbound when it struck a deer that entered the lane of travel.

The Altima had to be towed from the scene, police said.

• Frank J. Kamarauskas, 58, of Moscow, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 8:42 a.m. Dec. 10 on Route 209 in Hamilton Township.

Police said he was driving a 1997 Ford Ranger southbound when it exited the right side of the road, striking a fallen tree. The truck rotated clockwise, slid horizontally and came to rest about 40 feet from the initial impact.

• Emily L. Nunes, 21, of Stroudsburg, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 3:09 p.m. Thursday on Running Valley Road, Hamilton Township.

Police said she was driving a 2024 Toyota Corolla northbound when a vehicle traveling south crossed into her lane, causing her to swerve the Corolla to avoid a crash. The Corolla left the road and traveled down an embankment, striking a Med-Ed utility pole.

The vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.

They said Nunes was cited for the crash.
