Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following personnel matters on Monday:

Retirement

• Kayleigh Snyder, districtwide technology support technician, Northern Lehigh Middle School, effective Dec. 18.

Administrative transfers

• Earl Loch, from day shift districtwide maintenance to second shift districtwide maintenance, no change in salary, effective Dec. 23, 2024.

Appointments

• John Emerich, day shift districtwide maintenance, $20.20 an hour, effective Jan. 20 or upon completion of paperwork.

• Pierre Grollinsky, second shift custodian, $18 an hour, effective Jan. 15 or upon completion of paperwork.

• Susan Maikits, districtwide licensed practical nurse, $26.18 an hour, effective Jan. 20 or upon completion of paperwork.

• Stella Bowers, cafeteria monitor, Peters Elementary, $14.72 an hour (salary may change based on pending contract negotiations), effective Jan. 23 or upon completion of paperwork.

• Jessica Schwenger, special education paraprofessional, Peters Elementary, $14.72 an hour (salary may change based on pending contract negotiations), effective Jan. 13.

• Ricardo Babilonia, districtwide technology support technician, at a salary of $41,250, effective Jan. 14 or upon completion of paperwork.

Substitutes

• Mary Roberts, Paige Mathieu and Danielle Killian as guest teachers for the 2024-25 school year at the substitute rate as approved on the salary schedule.

Salary adjustments

• Acknowledged that teacher Dylan Hoffman, from Step 6B to Step 6B+24, has completed the requirements under the collective bargaining agreement that would entitle him to a salary increase for the 2024-25 school year.

• Acknowledged that teacher Michael Smith, from Step 3B to Step 3B+24, has completed the requirements under the collective bargaining agreement that would entitle him to a midyear salary increase for the 2024-25 school year.
