The Carbon County Area Agency for Aging advisory council agreed yesterday to recommend to the county commissioners that Zion Lutheran Church, Weatherly, be designated as the newest nutrition site of the county program.

Leonard Marzen, agency director, made this recommendation to the advisory council headed by Joseph Fitzgerald of Palmerton, newly-elected president.

The nutrition program is headed by Barbara Christopher of Summit Hill. If the Weatherly church is designated by the commissioners, it will become the third site in the county that serves meals to the aging. The others are St. Paul United Church of Christ, Summit Hill, and Trinity Lutheran Church, Lehighton.
