ON THIS DATE JANUARY 15, 1972

The Panther Valley Irish American Association last night held its reorganizational session in the Elks Lodge, Lansford.

John Shober of Lansford was elected president of the association.

Joining him this year as officers will be Stephen Allison of Tamaqua, first vice president, Daniel Gildea of Lansford, second vice president, Michael Donegan of Nesquehoning, third vice president, and Richard Hoben of Lansford, fourth vice president.

Other offices filled by election were Hoben, secretary; Francis Lawton of Summit Hill, treasurer; Larry Furey of Lansford, financial secretary; Msgr. J. Francis Haley, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Summit Hill, chaplain; and John Crampsie of Summit Hill, sergeant-at-arms.
