Shamokin man dies in Cass Twp. crash

A Shamokin man died in a two-vehicle crash at 3:10 p.m. Monday on Route 901 in Cass Township.

State police at the Frackville barracks said Keith A. Feese, 52, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

They said he was driving a 2009 Ford Ranger westbound and was negotiating a right curve in the road when it struck the driver’s side of a utility box of a 2011 Ford F550 driven east by Kevin G. Kistler Jr., 22, of New Ringgold.

Police said the Ranger, which had front-end and driver’s side damages, came to rest facing south in the eastbound lane. Kistler, who was uninjured, was able to pull off to the shoulder of the road.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene, police said.
