A Lehighton R.4 man was the top winner of the Pennsylvania Lucky 7 Lottery and will receive a prize of $75,000.
Wilbur B. Rehrig of West Bowmans, a retired 68-year-old railroad worker at the Palmerton plant of the New Jersey Zinc Company, has won the cash prize.
Yesterday, he turned over his lucky ticket at the state store in Lehighton.
Rehrig said his winning came at a time when he thought of quitting the purchase of lottery tickets, saying he told his wife last week “how much money I could have saved if I would have put the money each week in the bank instead of purchasing the lottery tickets. Now, I’m glad I didn’t.”
