Schuylkill County Court sentencings

The following defendants were recently sentenced in Schuylkill County Court:

Karen Williams, 59, of Zion Grove, was sentenced by President Judge Jacqueline L Russell to seven years of probation on animal neglect charges leveled by the Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office on Feb. 11, 2022. Williams was sentenced to a total of 48 months of probation on four counts of neglect of animals-shelter, and a total of 24 months on eight counts of animal neglect-water. She was also sentenced to one year of probation on all the charges. According to court papers, she neglected to provide shelter and water to 34 dogs, 29 chickens, 17 cats, 13 pigs and 12 ducks, and also failed to provide water to seven goats, one goose and one tortoise.

Kelly Loudermilk, 29, of Tuscarora, was sentenced by Judge William L.J. Burke to 2-23 months in jail on charges of institutional vandalism and theft by unlawful taking made by St. Clair police for an incident that occurred May 20, 2024. Loudermilk’s sentence on the vandalism charge was 1-12 months, and 1-11 months on the theft charge. He was also ordered to pay $893.24 in restitution to the Borough of St. Clair, as well as another $500, and perform 10 hours of community service.

Robert Nicholas Pupko, 32, of Kelayres, was sentenced by Judge William L.J. Burke to 6-24 months in prison on a charge of retail theft lodged by state police at Schuylkill Haven for an incident that occurred Dec. 8, 2022. Pupko was also ordered to make $370 in restitution to Dunham’s Sporting Goods, and pay another $500.

Tyler Parsons, 31, of Hazle Township, was sentenced by Judge Christopher W. Hobbs to 8-24 months in jail on a charge of fleeing or eluding a police officer made by West Penn Township police. Parsons was also ordered to serve one year probation, concurrent to the prison sentence. He was also fined $300, and ordered to pay another $700, plus a $65 monthly supervision fee while serving non-confinement supervision.

Steven Marsicano, 57, of Tamaqua, was sentenced to 2-23 months in jail on a charge of terroristic threats leveled by Tamaqua police for an incident Aug. 20, 2024. Marsicano was also ordered to pay $400.

Brittany Lynn Hilbert, 32, of Mount Carmel, was sentenced to 15-23 months on a charge of retail theft made by Rush Township police. She was also ordered to pay $500, and a $65 monthly supervision fee.
