The Northern Lehigh girls rallied for an overtime victory over Bangor on Friday.
The Northwestern and Marian girls also picked up wins, as did Jim Thorpe’s wrestling team.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Northern Lehigh-Bangor
Northern Lehigh rallied to force overtime and then outscored Bangor in the extra period to gain a 54-50 Colonial League victory.
Tegan Simms scored 13 of her team’s 17 points in the fourth quarter to help the Bulldogs erase a seven-point deficit.
In OT, Kylee Snyder came up big netting eight of her 12 points to help Nolehi pull out the win — their sixth in a row.
Simms ended with a game-high 22 points, while Katelynn Barthold contributed 16.

Cara Thomas scored a game-high 23 points for the Tigers, who have won 11 games by double digits.
Natalie Conner added 18 points for the winners, while the Falcons received 17 of their 19 points from Kendra Morgan.

In a battle for first place in Schuylkill League Division 1, North Schuylkill pulled away from Tamaqua for a 61-45 victory.
Mya Conti poured in a game-high 20 points for the Spartans, who built an 11-point lead by halftime. The winners also received 17 from Gianna Capone.
The Blue Raiders, who were hurt by a 6-of-19 effort at the foul line and saw their 10-game winning streak ended, were led by Millie Black’s double-double. She finished with 10 points and 20 rebounds.
Samantha Plasha added a team-high 11 points, while Lauren Ligenza chipped in with 10.

A big second half powered Pottsville to a 53-42 win over Panther Valley in Schuylkill League action.
Justine Siminitus and Keirra Jones scored 16 and 15 points, respectively, for the Tide, who outscored the Panthers 33-20 over the final two quarters. Jo Barnhart scored 11 points, including seven in the second half.
Morgan Orsulak led Panther Valley with 15 points, while Lucy Kocha added 10.
