Three area wrestling teams picked up wins on Tuesday.

Northwestern, Northern Lehigh and Palmerton all had successful nights on the mat. The Tigers defeated Lehighton, while the Bulldogs downed Catasauqua. The Blue Bombers rolled past Executive Education.

Northwestern recorded five pins en route to a 45-23 Colonial League victory over Lehighton.

Posting falls for the Tigers were Logan Uricchio (107), Weston Killar (114), Braydon Uricchio (127), Vinnie Fugazzotto (172) and Jackson Bailey (215).

The winners also received a technical fall from Luke Fugazzotto (189).

For the Indians, Jack Lucykanish (121), Blake Muffley (139) and Marc Macias (285) all registered pins.
