State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 55-year-old Lehighton woman reported she was the victim of a theft by deception/identity theft incident.

Police said the resident of Raymond Street, Towamensing Township, went to the barracks at 4:08 p.m. Jan. 3 to report the incident.

But police said through the investigation it was determined that no crime had occurred and that the incident was deemed a civil matter by the Carbon County District Attorney’s Office.

• Police said a man exposed himself to a 29-year-old Palmerton woman in an incident at 10 p.m. Jan. 1.

The woman was outside her residence on Fireline Road in Lower Towamensing Township and the unknown man displayed full frontal nudity to her.
