The first snowfall of 2025, following a southern track, arrived early Monday. The first flakes fell on eastern Schuylkill County at 7:16 a.m., building to a steady pace just 20 minutes later. One to 3 inches of light powdery snow is expected in our area. Here, snow begins to stick onto Route 309 in Hometown.
