State police at the Frackville barracks said that Ryan T. Fisher, 19, of Mahanoy City, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 5:51 a.m. on Dec. 28 on Route 54 (Pine Creek Drive) in Rush Township.

He was uninjured in the incident.

Police said Fisher was driving a 2019 Kia Optima eastbound and was traveling too fast for conditions when he failed to negotiate a left curve in the road.

The car rotated counterclockwise and struck a guide rail. It sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene, police said.
