Tamaqua’s wrestling team began the new year Thursday with a win over Schuylkill Haven.

Tamaqua rolled to a 60-6 victory over visiting Schuylkill Haven.
The Blue Raiders, who received seven forfeits, won three of the four bouts that were actually decided on the mat.
All three of those victories came via pin. Jacob Hehn delivered a first-period fall in under a minute at 189 pounds, while Bradley Whalen (172) and William Behun (285) also gained mat slaps.
