After the Eagles gain a 12-0 start, the Olympians take 10 of the final 11 bouts to cruise to the win. Angel Magobet starts the string with a fall in 3:31 at 119 pounds. Bob Szilagyi registers a quick 40-second pin for Thorpe at 135, while Brian Walck later adds a fall in three minutes at 152. The winners close out the match in impressive fashion getting pins from Jeff Reese at 171, Dan Heaney at 189 and Erik Schoch at heavyweight. Heaney’s six-pointer comes in 54 seconds, while it only takes Schoch 25 seconds to deck his opponent.
