PSP Lehighton - accidents

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following crashes:

• Colton J. Stroup, 21, of Palmerton, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 10:50 p.m. Dec. 20 on Hickory Road in Towamensing Township.

Police said he was driving a 2013 Subaru Impreza when he lost control of it while negotiating a curve on the snow-covered roadway.

The car traveled off the left side of the road and struck a fence before overturning. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

• Police said a 2005 Dodge Ram pickup crashed and landed on its side at 7:46 p.m. Dec. 20 on Fiddletown Road, Eldred Township.

Police did not identify the driver who was southbound during snowy conditions. They said the truck left the right side of the road and turned onto its side.

Police said once the vehicle was turned on its wheels it was able to be driven from the scene.

The driver was uninjured.

• Charlene J. Hill, 58, of Kunkletown, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 6:27 p.m. Dec. 20 on Scenic Drive, Polk Township.

Police said she was driving a 2006 Dodge Dakota northbound in snowy conditions when she lost control of the pickup truck.

The vehicle struck a guide rail head-on and became lodged in it. It was towed from the scene.

• No one was injuried in a one-vehicle crash at 11:27 a.m. Dec. 20 on Hazelwood Road, Towamensing Township.

Police said a 17-year-old girl from Lehighton was driving the 2015 Subaru Forester when she lost control of it while negotiating a right curve.

The vehicle left the road and struck an embankment.

A 15-year-old boy from Lehighton was the passenger.

The Forester was towed from the scene.

• Justin K. Feltham, 28, of Lehighton, was cited for accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle at 7:31 a.m. Dec. 7 on Wintergreen Road, Lower Towamensing Township. He was uninjured in the incident.

Police said he was driving too fast for conditions in a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado when he lost control of it.

The vehicle struck a guide rail, became airborne and flipped onto its passenger side, striking a tree. Police said the driver left the scene.

The Silverado and was towed from the scene.
