U.S. Rep. Gus Yatron today announced he has initiated a new constituent service office in Lansford in order to serve the residents of Carbon County.

Yatron will begin his representation of portions of the county that now are in the 6th Congressional District as a result of the Congressional redistricting that has been approved.

Members of his staff will be Louis Sauers and Rachel Brobst, who will hold office house hours on a part-time basis at the First Valley Bank, 12 W. Ridge St.

The congressman has full-time office hours at locations in Pottsville and Reading as the majority of his district is located in portions of Schuylkill and Berks counties.
