The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the menu for Dec. 30-Jan. 3.

Monday: Chicken Scampi, Vegetable Blend, Pasta, Fruited Jell-O or Roast Beef Sandwich.

Tuesday: Sloppy Joe, Potato Wedges, Salad, Orange or Ham and Cheese Sandwich.

Wednesday: Center Closed

Thursday: Pork and Sauerkraut, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Cookie or Chicken BLT Sandwich.

Friday: Fish Filet, Macaroni and Cheese, Peas and Onion, Fruit Cup or Egg Salad Sandwich.

The senior center also announced the following events.

Po-Keeno on Dec. 27 at 11 a.m.

Games on Dec. 30 at 11 a.m.; New Year’s Eve Party on Dec. 31 at 10:30 a.m.; Center Closed on Jan. 1; Bingo on Jan. 2 at 10:45 a.m.; Po-Keeno on Jan. 3 at 11 a.m.

Cards, Pool, Games, available daily from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. New members are welcome.

Hometown Hero Banners

The Nesquehoning Veterans Banner program is now open for 2025.

If you would like to purchase a new banner, applications are available. Deadline to purchase a new banner is Feb. 5, 2025.

Also if you purchased a banner to be displayed in 2022, 2023, and 2024, you have already been contacted and provided with the renewal information. Deadline for renewals is Jan. 24, 2025.
